Mill+'s Carl Addy directs this explosive new Roy Lichtenstein inspired spot for Credit Suisse.
This spot for Credit Suisse directed in house by the Mill+ team references the relationship between Credit Suisse and Brookfield Asset Management told here as a boxer and his trainer.
It was The Mill's job to create a piece of Roy Lichtenstein inspired animation that showed this relationship. A tricky aspect of the job was taking this iconic style of painting and converting it into moving animation. It was important to obey the rules of traditional Lichtenstein painting, all motion needed to feel as though it could have been hand painted.
The team did this by using a combination of flash animation and after effects. The team were helped with illustration by Simon Landrein and the innovative animation transitions were led by Ivo Sousa.
