Photo: Collage Project "A Shot in the Dark"

1. Step one: Take 20 shots with your eyes closed in an area which you have studied for a moment.

2. After you take your 20 shots  randomly with your eyes closed, save all of your shots in a folder with your name on it inside the Assignments folder.

Student Photos > Assignments > A Shot in the Dark > Your Folder with Your Name on it

3. Open Photoshop and create a New File that is 11 inches wide by 8,5 inches high with a 300 resolution.

Title that file with your name, and collage, like this. PaulS-collage

4. Now open all of your photos in Photoshop.

File > Open > now find your photos on the AMD server, inside your Assignments folder with your name on it.

All of these photos will open as different files in Photoshop.

5. Move your photos onto the collage
One by one, you will move these photos on to the Collage file.

The way you do it is you right click on the background layer, and then choose Duplicate Layer.
The Destination of the layer will be your Collage file. Do this to each photo and then close the photo file until all the photos are different layers of the same file.

6. Arrange your collage
Now resize (Control+T to Transform(remember to hold Shift when resizing so the photos don't distort or stretch unrealistically) and rearange (Move Tool is key command V) the photos until you are satisfied with your collage.
