I think that we should find alittle better ideas to come up with. The one they have come up we already do with our ohones. We need to think a little hard when it comes to a project like this . I feel that we will soon find some really cool ideas.
ReplyDeleteThe phone kiosks on the article look to be very useful, well at least the concept behind the kiosks seems beneficial. I think the concept of high tech kiosk is something that should spread worldwide if not at least nationwide. Not only will they benefit the communities but they well bring out the creativity in people. Before the kiosk is even created someone has to think about how it will look and what it's purpose will be, this is when creativity along with teamwork will come in handy. These kiosk are giant help not only to the people already living in the area but to tourist as well. Sometimes people have bad traveling experiences because they feel really lost in the place they're visiting, but with these kiosk that won't be an issue. Therefore, the high tech kiosk is a concept that I think should be encouraged more and looked at more in depth.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the kiosk would be a good idea since you could include Wi-Fi and have some other things included in the kiosk. Like it could have an option to call 911 in case there is an emergency. Also, there could be some other new option with the kiosk, where maybe you could find a place to eat. Want Chinese food? Just go to a kiosk and find the nearest one. It'd be very useful. Also, what if you want to go to a certain location, but you need to find where you have to go. Well, the kiosk can help out. You could even call, just in case you might need to for a certain reason, but it would be cool to even call others in another kiosk. What if you could do that? I actually like the kiosk idea.
ReplyDeleteI say that we need more pay phones for many reasons. What if there is an emergency and you don't have a phone? What if you is lost and you need to contact someone to get you? Maybe this pay phone should have a gps map that tells you the locations. They should be a way to make it national over the US.
ReplyDeleteI think that we do need more kiosks that could do more for us. As you said, Mr.Streckfus, I think that a kiosks should be made to help out homeless people. I'm not sure in what way these machines can help them, but what about a kiosk that will be able to show homeless people where they can get free food or benefits such as free insurance? Another idea that I was thinking about is a kiosk that informs people about weather. Maybe show when a hurricane will occur, and where. What places will it affect and if the temperature of an area will change because of it. Maybe these kiosks already exist, and if they do, I think that they are or will be really helpful.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to have to agree that public Kiosk would prove to be very useful in our society and it is true they do play historical roles in big cities all around the world.
ReplyDeleteI think that the payphones will need another thing to do. Other than being able to make phone calls, you should be able to do other cool things. When people are lost, maybe a map showing where they are will be helpful, or directions on how to get somewhere. You know things that help. Maybe showing the weather, or news. If there are streets or traffic somewhere it can tell you.
ReplyDeleteWe could use some of these ideas. A lot of these ideas are really great and i hope to see them in the future. They should make one where you can do your buiesness in there and you could call at the same time . I really like the one where you can have free wifi . Everybody needs free wifi ! A lot of these are very useful.
ReplyDeleteSome ideas that a Pay Phone can do is to also text and put a name for yourself so that the person you call or text will see it as your name. It should also be able to print out a GPS map, for if you dont know where you are. The most important thing that it should have is internet access, so you can look up phone numbers, like taxi numbers.
